We are seeking an experienced and innovative Lead Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Chennai. This role is pivotal in overseeing the technical aspects of residential and commercial solar and battery projects, ensuring they meet high standards of quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering with specific expertise in solar and battery system design and automation.
RequirementsKey Responsibilities
- Project Review:
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of both residential and commercial solar and battery projects.
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Identify potential design improvements and provide actionable recommendations to optimize projects.
- Technical Documentation:
- Develop and maintain detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the electrical design of solar and battery systems.
- Ensure documentation supports consistent, high-quality work throughout the organization.
- Training and Development:
- Lead training sessions for design and engineering teams to enhance their skills in solar and battery project implementation.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence within the team.
- Automation Support:
- Work closely with the automation team to streamline project processes, reducing errors and enhancing overall project quality.
- Use electrical expertise to improve automation strategies and implementation.
- Support to Licensed Electrical Engineer:
- Assist the Licensed Electrical Engineer in tasks such as feasibility assessments, system design, and resolving complex technical issues.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, specializing in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, specifically in solar and battery system designs.
- Experience with residential projects required; commercial and utility-scale project experience highly preferred.
