Responsibilities
As the Lead - Electrical, your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the planning, design, and implementation of electrical systems for real estate projects
- Awareness of NBC, ECBC, EIA and relevant applicable standards
- Review of Design deliverables, Load Calculation, SLD, DBR, Layouts, Tenders, Technical specifications and Data sheets
- Awareness of Electrical design criteria of various switchgear Protection systems including Earthing & Lightning.
- Experienced in Green building certification, CFO approvals, Environmental approvals and other building plan related approvals.
- Experienced in liaison activity for obtaining temporary and permanent power supply
- Awareness of Designing Security, IT-communication, FAVA, BMS system and other applicable extra low voltage services.
- Directing detail engineering with various calculations like Voltage Drop, Cable sizing, Cable Tray Sizing, Shaft Sizing, Short Circuit current and Bus Duct sizing
- External/Infra Area Layout & Substation Layout, Cable Tray, Trench, Raceway & Earth Pit Layout, ELV Schematic and Layouts, MATV
- Overseeing the installation and maintenance of electrical infrastructure, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with other building components
- Providing technical expertise and guidance on electrical engineering principles and best practices
- Managing and mentoring a team of electrical engineers and technicians
- Conducting regular inspections and assessments to identify and address electrical issues or improvements
- Preparing project documentation, reports, and budget estimates related to electrical scope of work
- Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and promoting a culture of safety within the electrical team
- Staying updated on industry advancements and emerging technologies to enhance project efficiency and sustainability
Qualifications
- 12-15 years of experience in the Real Estate industry
- Demonstrated track record of successfully leading electrical projects
- Proven experience in managing and coordinating electrical design, installation, and maintenance activities
- Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or related field
