We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Design Lead to join our creative team. As a Design Lead, you will be responsible for leading projects, driving creative design initiatives, and maximizing the potential of our design team. The ideal candidate is a seasoned design professional with a strong background in theme creation, creative design, and team leadership. They should have a clear determination for consistency, reusability, and innovation.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design team in developing creative concepts, themes, and visual designs for various projects.
Oversee every aspect of the project lifecycle, from concept development to final execution, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet client expectations.
Design Expertise: Strong skills in graphic design, typography, layout, and composition, with proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, Figma and Similar Tools
Conceptual Thinking: Ability to think strategically and develop innovative design concepts that align with client objectives and brand guidelines.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure design deliverables meet quality standards and effectively convey the desired message.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and marketers, to align design objectives with business goals.
Drive the development and implementation of design strategies, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency, reusability, and scalability across projects.
Effectively communicate design strategies and deliverables to stakeholders, including product management and engineering teams.
Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders, ensuring buy-in and support for design initiatives.
Mentor and coach team members, providing guidance, feedback, and support to foster their growth and development.
Inspire innovation and creativity within the team, encouraging experimentation and pushing the boundaries of design solutions.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in design, and incorporate them into our design processes and workflows.
Act as a liaison between the design team and other stakeholders, communicating project requirements, timelines, and deliverables effectively.
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in design, Fine Arts, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
8 plus years of experience in a design leadership role.
Proven track record of leading successful design projects from concept to completion.
Expertise in theme creation, creative design, and visual storytelling.
Strong proficiency in design software and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, etc.
