We are searching for a talented and experienced Lead Data Scientist to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in leading and executing cutting-edge data science initiatives that solve complex business problems. You will be responsible for the entire data science lifecycle, from project conception to model deployment and monitoring.
Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and implementation of AI models for production use cases, with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience.
Possess Advanced Knowledge Of Applied Machine Learning Methods In
Price Optimization
Demand Forecasting
Leverage your expertise in Python, PySpark, and Scala to wrangle, analyze, and transform large datasets.
Demonstrate experience working with Databricks in both Azure and AWS cloud environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, etc.) to ensure data-driven decision making.
Mentor and guide junior data scientists, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment. (Focus on technical mentorship, not people management).
Maintain a research-oriented mindset and stay abreast of the latest advancements in machine learning and data science. (A Ph.D. in Computer Science or Statistics is a plus).
Continuously evaluate and improve existing models to optimize performance and ensure business value.
Clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in building and deploying AI models in production.
Ph.D. in Computer Science or Statistics (preferred).
Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical methods.
Proven experience with Python, PySpark, and Scala for data manipulation and analysis.
Experience working with Databricks in Azure and/or AWS cloud environments.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to lead and mentor junior data scientists (technical focus).
Passion for research and staying updated on the latest advancements in data science.
