Job Summary
The role will be responsible for end-to-end data quality management for key Risk Types and cross-cutting activities to support better risk decisioning and risk management within the Risk & CFCC Function. The incumbent will be responsible for definition of the DQ landscape, requirements, solutioning and issue management processes for key workstreams within the Fit-For-Growth initiative(s) within Risk & CFCC.
Key Responsibilities
- Business analysis, requirements definition and data quality rules documentation
- Implementation of DQ checks across the right data points in the lifecycle
- Definition of the DQ landscape, guidelines and solution framework for DQ management for the key workstreams in FFG.
- Liaison with TTO to implement DQ rules and checks
- Implementation of sustained processes for DQ management
- Liaison with CDO to embed issue management processes
- Implementation and management of DQ dashboards
Strategy
- Define the data quality landscape, DQ management processes and guidelines
- Enable creation of best practices, root-cause-analysis techniques and issue resolution frameworks for DQ management
- Support the strategic & ad hoc DQ requirements in Risk & CFCC
Business
- Support best practices, solution frameworks & techniques to create a next-generation DQ delivery organization
- Liaise with the stakeholders to support DQ requirements & delivery
- Conduct stakeholder requirements sessions to elicit requirements, define DQ rules and solutions
- Liaise with TTO to implement changes, embed DQ change management in the processes
Processes
- Liaise with the wider data community & the CDO Office in establishing best practices, solution patterns & nimble data quality solutions
- Perform horizon scanning on upcoming trends in data management practices, data science technologies & incorporate into ways of working
People & Talent
- Provide support in attracting & retaining data management talent in the Function
Risk Management
- Embed compliance with data management risks, including data quality, secrecy, privacy, records management and AI ethics in the design of data solutions
- Ensure compliance with the risk management practices applicable for the role

Skills And Experience
- Experience in Risk
- Prior experience of SQL & Python Programming
- Knowledge of Data Quality Management principles
- Banking Data Knowledge
- Business Analysis & Effective Communication skills
Qualifications
- Graduate / Post-graduate in Computer Science, Finance or similar Quantitative Discipline
- 6+ Years of relevant experience in similar role & specifically in Risk / CFCC
- Experience in data management, data quality execution and data delivery projects
- Proficient in SQL & Python Data Programming, Jupyter Notebook skills
- Strong Stakeholder management & communication skills
- Strong RCA skills
- Able to make good working relationships with people at all levels, to work in a team environment.
- Able to work under time pressure & adapt to changing requirements.
- Overall work experience of at least 10 years.
