Experience: 9 14 Years
This role requires hands-on experience in data engineering and data analytics, as well as a strong project management background to drive our initiatives to completion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions that streamline and enhance our tax reporting processes
Key & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement data engineering solutions using SQL and Python, ensuring they align with business goals and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with data engineering and data analytics teams to extract, transform, and analyse large datasets relevant to tax reporting.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all technical aspects of projects, ensuring clear communication between stakeholders.
- Create and maintain detailed project documentation, timelines, and reporting structures.
- Conduct data quality checks, validation, and reconciliation to ensure the accuracy and reliability of tax reporting data.
- Identify opportunities to automate and optimize processes within the tax reporting pipeline.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 9- 14 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager with a focus on data engineering, data analytics, and tax reporting (Optional).
- Strong SQL skills: Proficient in querying, data manipulation, and optimizing complex SQL queries.
- Python programming experience: Hands-on with data processing libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and familiarity with Python-based ETL frameworks.
- 1099 Tax Reporting Knowledge: Deep understanding of US tax regulations related to 1099 forms, data requirements, and reporting best practices.
- Proven experience with data engineering concepts: ETL processes, data warehousing, and handling large-scale datasets.
- Exceptional project management skills with expertise in Agile or Scrum methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to dive into technical details to resolve issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with GCP cloud platform and Big data technologies.
- PMP, Agile, or similar project management certifications.
