About The Role
As a Lead Data Engineer, you will:
- Actively engage in building robust ETL solutions using Informatica.
- Senior-level expertise in Informatica ETL development.
- Understand source data and map sources to target design using the Informatica ETL tool.
- Develop data movement processes for the data warehouse.
- Collaborate closely with IT and business team members on the design and implementation of data movement processes.
- Analyze data structures in existing legacy systems to design ETL processes and data warehouse structures.
- Make recommendations based on data profiling and analysis, particularly in the area of automated data validations for existing/legacy systems.
- Use standard data modeling, data flow, and documentation tools to analyze, document, and present data analysis work.
- Work with non-technical subject matter experts to understand underlying data behavior and characteristics.
- Provide technical oversight, implementation guidance, remediation, and resolution of technical issues
- Work in a team-oriented environment, share information, and value diverse ideas
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, learning, innovation and deployment
About You
You are an ideal fit for the role of a Lead Data Engineer if you have:
- 9+ years in Data Warehouse ETL
- 3+ years with Datalake and cloud services (Snowflake, AWS tools)
- Current with Informatica PowerCenter v10+
- Knowledgeable in Data Architecture and Modeling
- Proficient in SQL, data modeling, and ETL development
- Creative and resourceful problem-solver
- Experience leading engineering teams
