Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Sr. Data Engineer with expertise in DW, SAP HANA, SQL, and Python. The Sr. Data Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to data engineering, data modeling, ETL (Extract Transform Load), data warehousing, and data analytics. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data solutions.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 8 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.

Strong expertise in data warehousing concepts and best practices.

Experience with Snowflake data warehousing is ideal. But experience with other DW tools like SQL Server, Oracle, SAP HANA will also be considered.

Strong proficiency in SQL programming, including the ability to create and debug stored procedures, functions, and views.

Experience with Python for scripting and automation tasks is preferred.

Prior experience with SAP data structures in Logistics space (Sales, Purchasing, Inventory Management, MM modules) is a strong plus.

Prior working experience in DBT modeling, Airflow orchestration is nice to have.

Self-motivated and eager to take ownership of projects.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
