The Axial Programme will be powered by S/4HANA a new ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system which will be implemented right across the organisation and will provide our business with
standardised processes, enhanced financial management, common data and
real time reporting, transforming the way we work through our entire supply chain - from bench to patient.
The new system will be used by more than 20,000 employees daily, is foundational to all AZ entities and is central to most core business processes. This is a once in a generation programme for AstraZeneca and will shape our ways of working globally for many years to come.

We are now looking for an Enterprise Process Expert within Order and Distribution to Cash process tower to join our team.
What you'll do:
The Enterprise Process Expert will be responsible for supporting the Development and Delivery of a defined suite of Order and Distribution to Cash Business Processes associated with the successful distribution of materials and finished goods within the Operations Supply Network and the distribution of products to various type of external customers. With a focus on the exploitation of SAP (S/4 HANA) capability to collaborate with external logistics partners to realise the defined processes.
The Enterprise Process Expert role will be assigned to manage specified topics related to external collaboration and interfaces with AZ external logistics or warehouse partners on goods receipt and dispatch, inventory management, quality management and master data management.
In this role, you will be providing expert knowledge to support the Enterprise Process Leads (EPL's) to deliver global design and embed these processes in the BAU organisation ensuring they are aligned to the strategic direction. Ensuring the capabilities of external partners enables the future needs of the growing business.
- Supports EPL to deliver global design, data design, systems and technologies associated with Distribution process area.
- Supports EPO/EPLs to design globally standardized processes on external collaboration and interfaces, minimizing local customisation and deviation.
- Defines, analyses and communicates current, interim and future business processes and improvement opportunities.
- Supports the development of new strategies to improve business processes and ensure business continuity, meeting current and future business needs.
- Networks with colleagues across the business to identify improvement opportunities and future business requirements.
- Collaborates with the programme and business partners in IT, Master Data and Analytics to define technology, data and analytics requirements for the business processes.
- Ensures external requirements are understood and considered in the Business Process and Data designs.
- Supports the process mapping and documentation activities to appropriate level of details.
- Facilities knowledge sharing within the team and the programme.
- Manages/Supports the deployment and change activities.
- Establish influential and highly collaborative relationships with key logistics partners.
Essentials:
- Proven experience of SAP S4/HAHA, MM, SD, or TM.
- Solid experience in Distribution or Logistics processes, preferably on a global or regional environment
- Technical knowledge on various interface approaches, like IDOC, EDI, XML, API & etc.
- Strong Communication and Relationship Building skills with an ability to Influence others to achieve objectives
- Ability to see the bigger picture while also have the capability to drill into detail in their own area of expertise.
- Ability to manage diverse teams, multiple cultures and negotiate different interests.
- Business Process Management knowledge
- Proficiency in English
