Lead Cloud Engineer

About the Role:

As a Lead Devops Engineer you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure solutions for our diverse clientele. Leveraging your expertise in cloud engineering, particularly with Azure and GCP, you will spearhead complex projects aimed at driving operational efficiency, scalability, and security. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on the bleeding edge of technology while collaborating with a talented team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions on Azure and GCP platforms.

Perform system maintenance tasks, including patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Develop robust automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar languages to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

Champion DevOps best practices and lead the implementation of CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery.

Write and deploy Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.

Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills, especially in high-pressure situations, to resolve complex technical issues promptly.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on Azure and GCP.

Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar languages.

Deep understanding of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD tools.

Strong background in system maintenance, including patching and upgrades.

Proven track record of writing and deploying Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications in Azure or GCP (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect).

Extensive experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Familiarity with network architecture and security protocols
