Preparation and consolidation of corporate budget, budgetary controls, management reporting, Regulatory reporting, liasioning with auditors, benchmarking and business analytics etc.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Handling MIS and various reporting related to the Management.
- Preparation & Presentation of Monthly P&L report (MIS) at field level and Company level
- P&L analysis reports (Key financial information Ratio and analysis to the top management for financial decision-making).
- Cost analysis & Cost calculation (Opex per barrel / Opex per MMBTU) for the products of the company.
- Preparation and consolidation of annual corporate budget and long-term corporate plans
- Regulatory reports preparation and getting them audited
- Analyze companys financial information (such as cash management expenditures and revenues) making sure that companys financial operations do not exceed budget limits
- Preparation of presentation for MD office and responding to queries
- Preparation of monthly MIS incorporating budget, actuals and projections, proactive identification, and reporting of budget overruns
- Preparation and presentation of Analytical Information, Detailed review of project costs, contract costs as per requirement
- Suggesting improvements in company s budget utilization to increase profits
- Ad hoc information and tasks as may be delegated
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferably a CA with 2-6 Years experience in upstream Oil & Gas companies or MBA/CMA with 4-6 years experience in upstream Oil & Gas companies
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
- Experience of working as a Budget Manager or Budget Analyst
- Good practical experience with financial accounting and statistical software and ERP/SAP
- Good knowledge of MS Excel including advanced tools and formulas complex tables and charts
- Profound experience of using forecasting and data analytics methods
- Excellent analytical and numeracy skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Familiarity with best practices and regulations in accounting and financial areas
- Ability to present budget and fiscal data in clear and comprehensive manner
- Have a degree in Accounting Finance or other relevant areas.
- Excellent in MS word and power point
- Excellent oral and written communication
