Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain complex Excel macros using VBA to automate recurring tasks, streamline workflows and reduce manual effort.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing macros to improve performance and accuracy.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy and security within all automated solutions.
- Build, manage and optimize Alteryxworkflows to automate data blending, preparation and reporting.
- Collaborate with data and finance teams to understand requirements, identify automation opportunities, and ensure data consistency.
- Leverage Alteryx tools for advanced data transformations, data cleansing and analytics
- Apply financial knowledge to support data-driven decision making, including data validation and reporting.
- Design and develop custom financial reports and data visualizations that meet organization standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. finance, accounting, data analytics) to understand business processes and define automation requirements.
- Document workflows, macros and procedures for knowledge sharing and future reference.
- Provide training and support to team members on using automated processes.
Personal Requirements & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Data science or related field.
- Proven experience as an Excel Macro Developer with advanced VBA skills.
- Hands-on experience with Alteryx Designer and workflow automation.
- Proven work experience in critical thinking and analytical skills
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Applies attention to details and being able to structure a logical approach based on the information received
