We are looking for resourceful candidates to join our Financial Research group based in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Gurugram. The role involves working closely with portfolio managers and analysts in the Firms Fundamental Equities Healthcare team.
WHAT YOU'LL DO DAY-TO-DAY:
In this role, you will be expected to build and maintain financial models, do valuations related analysis, prepare related write-ups, and present investment ideas to front office groups. Sector research on healthcare, including all sub-sectors (pharma, biotech, life science tools and diagnostics, healthcare IT, med-tech, etc.) will be a key responsibility. You will be expected to conduct in-depth benchmarking of valuation and operational metrics (versus peer group), sensitivity and scenario analysis. You will also collaborate closely with front office groups to iterate on financial models and investments. Furthermore, you will be expected to attend management, sell-side, intermediary and sector expert calls in addition to other related work.
WHO WERE LOOKING FOR:
Basic qualifications:
- A degree in finance or equivalent (Master of Business Administration/Chartered Financial Analyst/Chartered Accountant) and over 5 years of investment research experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in the Healthcare sector in international markets
- Proficiency in Bloomberg Query Language/Bquant and VisibleAlpha script
