About the Team:
Provides accounting support to Merchants and Vendors for Accounts Receivable, along with preparing reports for management review. They also ensure that all financial reports comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and other relevant regulations. The team regularly reviews and updates its receivables policies and procedures, staying informed of changes in accounting standards and regulations.
Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that all vendor funds are accurately tracked, documented, accrued, collected, and properly recorded in Lowe's financials. In addition to managing vendor funds, this role involves overseeing the resolution of vendor disputes in a timely manner and ensuring that all cost updates are promptly entered into the system. This position also ensures that financial transactions are accurately accounted for and classified within the company's financial statements in compliance with company policy and U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP). The role demands strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to develop and implement strategies to enhance the accounts receivable process.

Monitoring, report out and analyze business performance and other KPIs which inform the business.
Ensure 100% accuracy and 100% timely deliverables.
Advanced Accounting knowledge to apply logic on how Audits are performed.
Work effectively and efficiently with team members and be able to strike a balance between multiple process.
Drives customer satisfaction by ensuring trade receivable activities are performed as per customer expectations and service level agreements.
Work on extracting, cleansing, converting and presenting data according to requirements.
Understand and contribute to ideation and execution of ad-hoc & tactical projects.
Be a team player, by stepping into business problems which may not be associated with the main business to which he/she may be aligned to
Prior working experience with Trade Receivables systems Open text, Imaging, People soft
Key contact for SSCM relating to the processes mentioned above.
Builds and maintains strong relationships with the Mooresville team to ensure timely payment and issue resolution.
Years of Experience:
Required:
10 years - overall combined experience in accounting (industry or public)
4 years accounting experience in large ERP environment (Oracle and/or PeopleSoft preferred)
Preferred:
Experience with process improvements/system enhancements/automation related to accounting functions.
Experience performing and/or reviewing account reconciliations.
Education Qualification & Certifications (optional)
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Information Systems or other related field
CA/CPA (preferred)
