This role is the primary expert within the AI LLM, GenAI and RAG area. The Lead AI/ML Engineer contributes to design the AI/ML strategic choices and technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and be engaged in the development process.
Key Responsibilities (Tech Stack)
- AI Experience:
- NLP, use of pre-trained or commercial LLMs, GenAI, and RAG.
- AWS services experience: Comprehend, SageMaker.
- Experience with any AWS database.
- Experience deploying models in AWS Cloud Services.
- GitHub.
- Knowledge of Docker Containers.
- Contribute to code reviews, documentation and architectural artifacts.
- Manage risk identification and risk mitigation strategies associated with the architecture.
- Active leader in the Architecture Practice community, mentoring Engineers and others through Communities of Practice (CoPs) or on project teams, supporting the growth of technical capabilities.
Minimum Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- A minimum of 6+ years of experience/expertise working with LLMs, NLP, and other AI and ML strategies with proficiency in the specified technologies above:
- Must have good expertise in testing AI Models.
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
- Communicate in a clear and understandable manner with clients and managers.
- Demonstrated problem solving, analytic and troubleshooting skills.
- Should have experience working in Agile (awareness of user stories, story estimation in story points, etc.).
