Designation:- Lead Accountant

Qualification:- Bachelors/master's in finance& accountsdomain

Experience:12 to 18 years proven experience in finance & Accounting, preferably in scrap or recycling or Metal industry.

Job Description: We are seeking a proactive and energetic professional to join our team and is responsible for consolidation and preparation of company financial statements, reconciliation activities and overall financial closure process for the company

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage the finance team, including accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.

2. Develop and implement financial strategies to achieve business objectives.

3. Oversee financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

4. Manage cash flow, working capital, and funding requirements.

5. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations.

6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and procurement.

7. Develop and maintain relationships with banks, auditors, and financial institutions.

8. Identify and mitigate financial risks.

9. Drive cost optimization and process improvement initiatives.

Key Competency Skills:

1. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers.

2. Knowledge of accounting standards and statutory compliance, financial management and taxation

3. Proficiency in using ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications.

4. 12+ years of experience in finance leadership roles in manufacturing companies.
