The expected deliverable is to provide accurate Release Level 1-5 3D Factory in NX line designer (per Ford specification) for manufacturing and support departments to the Program Management Team and the Ford VME/BME/PTME Plant Layout department. Deep knowledge and expertise in NX line designer Tool and layout development using NX line designer.
Education Qualification : Diploma / Degree in Engineering
Number of Years of Experience : 3-6 Years Automobile industries Plant layout experience
Professional Exposure : Exposure in layout Engineering or Manufacturing functions
Skill & Knowledge requirement :
- Good Knowledge on plant and facility layouts and Basic knowledge on NX line Designer Auto Desk & other CAD software, capable to lead project independently, Communication, Presentation skills and Team Player
- Scheduling and leading weekly layout review meetings to discuss layout related concerns.
- Track and help resolve layout issues.
- Produce audio/visual presentations as required to communicate layout options to the program team.
- Participate in meetings with process and program engineers.
- Make layout changes and proposals as required to support program development.
- Communicate needs and concerns between equipment vendors, program leaders and managers, Architectural Engineering firm, Ford Land personnel, Ford Facility Engineering personnel, Ford Layout department and Ford PTME Facility Manager.
- Communicate with plant personnel to address layout concerns.
- Meet with equipment vendors as required to ensure their layout templates match the plant layout and address equipment layout issues as needed.
- Cooperate with Ford Engine Plant layout department to ensure layout development is progressing to Ford standards. Periodic meetings shall be scheduled to discuss and track progress.
- Complete Release Level 2-5 drawings for assembly & support departments, review drawings with appropriate personnel per PTP02-107ME and obtain approval signatures. RL4 drawings must support machine and equipment installations per the equipment delivery and installation schedule.
- Communicate with Program Management Team and complete layout design work for the plant non-production support areas. Use Ford developed non-production support area Bill of Process templates.
- Communicate layout changes and deviations per Ford procedures outlined in PTP02-107ME.
- Conduct field checks when needed.
- Complete and submit safety, risk assessment and release level checklists per program timing. Complete Release Level 5 drawings and obtain approval signature following equipment.
- installation per the Ford GPDS timing plan.
- Store files in the Ford Vault file management system per PTP02-107ME unless alternate arrangements are made by the Ford Engine Plant Layout department.
- 2D Computer aided drafting must be provided in AutoCAD 2018 (or newer) software.
- The employee must follow all Ford Corporate and local safety rules and conduct requirements when visiting Ford facilities.
