Description

We are looking for a Loan Against Property (LAP) Officer with 1-5 years of experience in the Indian job market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the LAP portfolio and ensuring that all loan applications are processed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

Evaluate loan applications and make credit decisions based on the credit policy and guidelines
Ensure timely processing of loan applications and disbursement of loan amounts
Manage the LAP portfolio and ensure timely repayment of loans
Monitor and analyze the performance of the LAP portfolio and take appropriate actions to minimize risk
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer experience and resolve customer queries and complaints
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
1-5 years of experience in LAP underwriting and portfolio management
Knowledge of credit policies, guidelines, and regulations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications
