Qualifications and Requirements
- Educational Background: Master's degree in Landscape, Ecology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 12 years in landscaping and biodiversity conservation, with experience in natural forest areas.
- Proven experience as a Landscape/Ecology Expert on at least three master planning projects in the tourism sector.
- Expertise in ecological principles, habitat assessment, ecological modelling, and sustainable landscape design.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to sustainable development and environmental stewardship.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct ecological assessments and biodiversity surveys to evaluate habitat health and diversity.
- Develop landscape conservation plans and restoration strategies to enhance biodiversity.
- Design sustainable landscapes that balance ecological principles with human activities.
- Implement habitat restoration projects, including wetland creation, reforestation, and wildlife corridors.
- Collaborate with government agencies, conservation organizations, and local communities to promote ecosystem conservation and restoration.
- Provide technical guidance on ecological restoration, landscape design, and habitat management.
- Conduct environmental impact assessments and recommend measures to mitigate ecological disruption.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of conservation initiatives, adjusting strategies as necessary.
- Educate stakeholders and the public about biodiversity conservation and sustainable landscape management.
- Stay updated on advancements in landscape ecology, conservation biology, and related fields.
