Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Laboratory Specialist at Genesis Royal Infirmary located in Bengaluru. The Laboratory Specialist will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests, analyzing results, and providing accurate and timely reports. They will also ensure that all laboratory equipment is properly maintained and calibrated, and adhere to relevant safety and quality assurance protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field
- Experience working in a clinical laboratory setting
- Proficiency in performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording and reporting results
- Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and quality assurance procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of laboratory information management systems (LIMS) is a plus
- Professional certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) is preferred
