As an L2 Network Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the network infrastructure of our clients. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our network systems and providing technical support to resolve any issues that may arise. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Networking and Firewall technologies, including CCNP certification, as well as experience with SDWAN, Cisco ISE, DNAC, SDA, Firewall(Fortinet, Palo-Alto) and other network security solutions.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure for clients, ensuring high availability and performance.
Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose network problems.
Configure and maintain Cisco switches and routers, including VLANs, STP, and routing protocols.
Implement and manage network security solutions, including Fortinet firewalls (NSE4/NSE5 certifications preferred).
Manage and troubleshoot Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for authentication and access control.
Utilize expertise in Software-Defined Access (SDA) and Digital Network Architecture (DNA) to optimize network operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network upgrades and expansions.
Document network configurations, processes, and procedures for knowledge sharing and future reference.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Requirements
Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
CCNP certification or equivalent experience in Cisco networking.
NSE4 and NSE5 certifications in Fortinet technologies preferred.
Proficiency in Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) and experience with access control policies.
Expertise in Software-Defined Access (SDA) and Digital Network Architecture (DNA).
Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies, including VLANs, STP, OSPF, and BGP.
Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in SDWAN delivery and operation.
Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on the latest networking technologies and trends.
Preferred Qualifications
CCNP Certified or equivalent experience
Experience with Cisco Digital Network Architecture Center (DNAC) for network automation and orchestration.
Experience with other network security solutions, such as Palo Alto Networks or Check Point.
Knowledge of cloud networking technologies, such as AWS or Azure.
