Position:- Kubernetes SME Strong knowledge in Ubuntu Linux, CI/CD Tools (Pipelines, GitOps, Jenkins), Configuration
Management/Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform Chef, Puppet or Ansible
Responsible for managing Kubernetes clusters to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of containerized applications.
Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture, components, and best practices.
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, container, etc.).
Proficiency in scripting and automation (Bash, Python, etc.).
Familiarity with infrastructure provisioning and configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, etc.).
Monitoring and Optimization: Track cluster health, performance, and resource utilization. Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and optimize resource allocation.
Security: Regularly audit cluster security and apply patches and updates as needed.
Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline cluster provisioning, deployment, scaling, and management tasks. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kubernetes infrastructure, container orchestration, networking, and storage. Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot application-level issues.
Backup and Disaster Recovery: Maintain Regular backups of etc data and disaster recovery drills.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including cluster architecture diagrams, deployment procedures, troubleshooting guides, and best practices.
Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to understand application requirements and provide guidance on containerization, deployment, and scaling strategies.
