Vandey provides outsourced instructional services to institutions of higher education and is seeking a candidate to work for Vandey to serve in a full-time role as a Knowledge Management Coordinator with the University of the People.

OVERVIEW:

University of the People is seeking to hire a Knowledge Management Coordinator for Program Advising department. The Knowledge Management Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining systems and processes that capture, organize, and disseminate critical information. This role ensures that employees have easy access to relevant and accurate knowledge resources, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous learning. The coordinator will work closely with various departments to create, update, and manage knowledge assets, while ensuring that information is secure, consistent, and aligned with organizational goals. This position is key to improving overall efficiency, driving innovation, and reducing the risk of knowledge loss by ensuring that important insights, processes, and documentation are properly captured and shared. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, communication, and technical skills, with a passion for creating seamless access to knowledge that enables better decision-making and productivity.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Knowledge Repository Management: Maintain and update the knowledge repository, ensuring that information is easily accessible, current, and relevant. Develop and enforce guidelines for managing content, including regular audits.
  • Documentation and Content Creation: Collaborate with various departments to create, edit, and organize documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other knowledge assets. Ensure consistency, clarity, and alignment with organizational goals across all knowledge documents.
  • Training and Onboarding: Create & update onboarding materials and training programs for new employees, ensuring they have access to essential knowledge and resources from the start.
  • Capturing new knowledge: capture new knowledge and integrate it into the operations. Ensure that the team absorbs new ideas and implements new policies quickly.
  • Collaboration - work with relevant stakeholders to optimize information storage and distribution. Act as a bridge between different teams, gathering information and ensuring that knowledge is shared across departments to avoid silos. Foster relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of knowledge management goals.
  • Process Improvement: Identify gaps in current practices and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency. Implement best practices.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Track usage metrics, generate reports, manage & improve the existing dashboards, identify the need for new dashboard and collaborate with the data team.
  • Additional Tasks Complete additional tasks as and when allocated.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum education required: Bachelor's degree
  • A minimum of 1 years experience as a Knowledge management coordinator.
  • Fluent English level
