Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Supervise kitchen employees and organize daily orders.
  • Coordinating with clients and ensuring orders are delivered correctly in a timely manner.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and vendor management.
  • Oversee the food preparation.
  • Order materials, supplies and ingredients based on demand.
  • Store food products in compliance with safety practices.
  • Keep weekly and monthly inventory and cost reports.
  • Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area.
  • Ensure the kitchen is clean and organized.

Requirements and skills

  • Knowledge of a wide range of baked goods like cakes, cupcakes, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with planning menus and ordering materials.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with kitchen sanitation and safety regulations.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage a team in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Flexibility to work during weekends.
  • Certification from a culinary school or degree in Restaurant Management is a plus.
