Job Description

The Industrial Kitchen In-charge is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the KH Exports India Private Limited Glove Division industrial kitchen, ensuring the provision of high-quality, hygienic, and nutritious meals to our employees. This role involves maintaining inventory, adhering to budget constraints, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Roles & Responsibilities
  • Kitchen Operations Management:
Supervise daily operations of the kitchen / canteen, ensuring smooth functioning and timely meal service.
  • Plan and coordinate the preparation and serving of meals on time.
Ensure that the canteen is clean, hygienic, and safe at all times.
  • Well versed to manage cooking, dining, and serving 2000 plus employees every day.
Manage to prepare breakfast and lunch for 2000 employees of KH Exports
  • To serve around 4500 plates every day

Top Management 12 plates per day

White Collar 360 plates per day

Blue Collar 4000 plates per day
  • Employee Management:
Train, and supervise kitchen employees, including cooks, kitchen assistants, and serving employee.
  • Prepare work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor all kitchen employees performance.
  • Menu Planning and Food Quality:
Ensure that food is prepared in accordance with quality standards and hygiene regulations.
  • Conduct regular quality checks on food products and ingredients.
  • Inventory and Stock Management:
Maintain accurate records of food inventory and supplies.
  • Order food and kitchen supplies as needed, ensuring minimal wastage and efficient stock rotation.
Conduct regular stock checks and audits.
  • Budget and Cost Control:
Monitor and control canteen expenses to stay within the allocated budget.
  • Implement cost-saving measures without compromising food quality and safety.
  • Health and Safety Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including food hygiene standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address potential hazards.
Implement and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Strive to improve the overall dining experience for employees.
Foster a positive and welcoming environment within the canteen.
  • Working Conditions:
Industrial canteen setting, often involving long hours and standing for extended periods.
  • May require early morning, late evening, and weekend shifts.
