Stockarea is a Managed logistics platform that provides Supply Chain solutions to SME & MNC Brands in the India. Stockarea aggregates supply chain service providers like warehouse operators, Transporters, Freight Forwarders, Customs Agents, & Compliance service providers, and offers a single platform for Brands to Book/Manage these services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Vendor Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Coordinate procurement activities, including sourcing, evaluating, and selecting vendors.
- Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or concerns promptly.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to optimize costs and service quality.
2. Documentation and Compliance:
- Ensure all documentation related to procurement, contracts, and vendor agreements is accurate, complete, and up to date.
- Stay updated on GST regulations and ensure compliance in all transactions and documentation.
- Implement and maintain proper record-keeping procedures for vendor-related documents.
3. Onboarding Expertise:
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new vendors, including completing necessary paperwork, verifying credentials, and conducting orientation sessions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth integration of new vendors into existing workflows and systems.
4. Pricing and Negotiation:
- Analyze pricing trends and market dynamics to inform negotiation strategies.
- Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and discounts with vendors to achieve cost savings and maximize value.
- Evaluate vendor proposals and recommend optimal pricing structures based on business requirements and budgetary constraints.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience (Min 2 years) in vendor management, procurement, or supply chain management roles, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- In-depth knowledge of GST regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to drive favorable outcomes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using vendor management software and MS Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
