The Key Account Manager (KAM) for Government Services is responsible for managing key accounts
related to government regulatory services such as BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards), EPR (Extended
Producer Responsibility), and WPC (Wireless Planning and Coordination). This role involves ensuring
compliance with government regulations by efficiently handling the documentation process and
application filing. The KAM will act as the primary liaison between the clients and regulatory bodies, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the government services sector.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, understanding their regulatory needs and objectives.
- Conduct regular account reviews to identify opportunities for service improvement and compliance enhancement.
- 2. Documentation Process:
- Oversee the preparation, review, and submission of all necessary documentation related to BIS, EPR, and WPC applications.
- Ensure all documentation complies with government regulations and standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all documentation and submissions.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather required information and documentation for compliance filings.
- Manage the application filing process for BIS, EPR, WPC, and other relevant government services.
- Ensure all applications are completed accurately and submitted within the required deadlines.
- Track the status of applications and provide regular updates to clients.
- Address any issues or discrepancies that arise during the application process, liaising with regulatory bodies as necessary.
- 4. Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay informed about the latest regulations and requirements for BIS, EPR, and WPC.
- Provide guidance and support to clients on compliance matters.
- Conduct compliance audits and reviews to ensure adherence to government regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to key accounts.
- Resolve any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
- Ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving.
- 6. Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare regular reports on account performance, documentation status, and application progress.
- Analyse account data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or in a similar role, preferably in government services or regulatory compliance.
- Strong understanding of BIS, EPR, and WPC documentation processes and application filing
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in regulatory compliance within the [specific industry, e.g., electronics,
telecommunications] sector.
- Familiarity with government regulatory bodies and procedures.
- Project management certification or experience. Working Conditions:
- Standard office environment with occasional travel to client sites and regulatory offices.
- Flexibility to work outside regular business hours as needed.
