Job Purpose and Impact
The Key Account Manager will help build and maintain customer relations with strategic accounts that typically involve an international partner or major global accounts. In this role, you will help us identify and contact prospective customers, build relationships to generate future sales and repeat business, contribute to assessing customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services and solutions. Key Accountabilities
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders in the customer organization and prospective customers as you look to build out the customer portfolio.
- Monitor customer activity and requirements closely to ensure continuous value creation and optimization.
- Execute strategies focused on expanding your customer base and portfolio within defined geographic locations.
- Act as the interface between the customer and the business, facilitating relationships and collaborating with internal departments to ensure operational activities are aligned to support and create value for the customer.
- Manage and execute bids, tenders and contract negotiations.
- Identify new sales opportunities and commercial partnerships.
- Network with companies in the industry and attend industry events and conferences to better understand markets and customers.
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Focus on profit improvisation and penetrating with basket of offerings to customer as value based selling
- Equipped with internal and external stakeholder management skillsets
- Other duties as assigned Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and working experience in Foods or ingredients B2B Sales / Key Account Management
- Minimum of ten to thirteen years of related work experience
