Job Role: Key Account Management Intern

Location: Indiranagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka

Karbon Card is a B2B payment solution for India's finance leaders, entrepreneurs, business owners and

corporate executives. We serve 1500+ companies across India, including decorated companies and tech unicorns.

2019/7 - Launched and became an instant hit among Bangalore founders.

2021/8 - Graduated from Y-Combinator (YC S21) among the top growth picks.

2021/9 - Closed $12mn pre-A round.

2022/2 - Closed $15mn A round.

We are looking for interns that can be groomed into full time roles in the AM team. Good communication skills

are mandatory in these roles. We need highly driven, disciplined, and hard-working individuals to join us at

Karbon.

We hire very selectively and build world class teams that can deliver, so we want to make sure you fit in that

culture.

What will you do

1. Speak to corporates (Cold Calling), understand their spending, and bring them onboard Karbon's suite of products.

2. You will have to work with the finance teams of these companies, and you will be trained in financial processes.

3. You will identify areas of fit with the corporate finance teams as well as document and present your learnings to the marketing and product teams.

4. You will have objective goals, & targets. We want to make sure that you can make an impact here. Hitting targets and receiving incentives means you are on your way to a PPO.

5. We work 5 days from our beautiful office in Indiranagar, so we expect you to be based nearby.

6. Increase activation rate and GTV spends for their portfolio.

7. Cultivate relationships to upsell, cross sell relevant products.

8. Log and maintain accurate customer relationship data on the CRM.

9. Warm up accounts associated with Karbon, understand their spending and suggest the right use case

10. Collect Statements and forward them.

11. Collect feedback and document it.

Must haves

1. 0-2 years of B2B/ B2C experience.

2. Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.

3. Being good with numbers and being detail oriented.

4. Experience working with a high growth startup is a plus, but not mandatory.

5. Ownership - We believe in letting people take the lead and not micromanaging anyone, so we expect that our team will take that responsibility.
