Winmore Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Kannada Teacher to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Kannada language instruction to young learners, fostering a love for the language, and supporting the academic and personal development of students. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Kannada, experience in teaching young children, and a commitment to creating an engaging and inclusive classroom environment.
Instructional Planning and Delivery:- Develop and implement effective and engaging lesson plans that align with Winmore Academy's curriculum and educational standards.
Teach Kannada language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening, using a variety of instructional methods and materials.- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students.
Classroom Management:- Create and maintain a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and growth.
Implement and manage effective classroom discipline and behavior strategies.- Address and resolve academic and behavioral issues in a proactive and professional manner.
Assessment and Evaluation:- Regularly assess and monitor student progress through formative and summative assessments.
Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and communicate progress to parents and guardians.- Utilize assessment data to adjust instructional strategies and support individual student needs.
Student Support and Engagement:- Support students academic, social, and emotional development through personalized attention and encouragement.
Organize and participate in school events, language activities, and cultural celebrations that enhance student learning and engagement.- Promote a positive attitude towards the Kannada language and its cultural heritage.
Professional Development and Collaboration:- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in language education and teaching techniques.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine curriculum and instructional strategies.- Contribute to school-wide initiatives and participate in faculty meetings and planning sessions.
Bachelor's degree in Kannada, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).- Valid teaching certification for or relevant qualifications for teaching Kannada at the primary level.
Proven experience teaching Kannada to young learners.
- Strong proficiency in Kannada, including reading, writing, and speaking.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.- Ability to create a dynamic and supportive learning environment.
Enthusiasm for working with young children and a commitment to fostering a love for the Kannada language
