Job Overview:We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will assist in the production of high-quality video content that aligns with our brand and engages our audience. Video Editing: Edit raw footage into polished videos, including short clips, long-form content, social media videos, and promotional materials.
- Post-Production: Assist with color correction, audio mixing, and adding visual effects to ensure a professional final product.
Collaboration:
Work closely with senior editors, producers, and the creative team to understand project requirements and deliver on creative briefs.File Management:
Organize and manage video files, including media backups and archiving completed projects.Quality Control: Review and refine content to ensure it meets quality standards and brand guidelines.
- Content Adaptation: Adapt video content for various platforms, ensuring optimal viewing experience across different channels (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, TikTok).
Continuous Learning:
Stay updated with the latest trends in video editing, tools, and techniques to bring fresh ideas to the team.
Education:
A degree or diploma in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).Experience:
0-2 years of experience in video editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.Software Proficiency: Familiarity with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar tools.
Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Basic knowledge of color grading, sound design, and motion graphics is a plus.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A passion for storytelling and creating compelling visual content.
