Overview
The Order Management Executive plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth processing and fulfillment of customer orders. They are responsible for overseeing the end-to-end order management process, from order entry to delivery, and strive to provide exceptional customer service.
Location : BHiwandi, Mumbai
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process customer orders accurately and in a timely manner
- Coordinate with various internal teams such as sales, inventory, and shipping to ensure order fulfillment
- Monitor order status and communicate updates to customers
- Resolve any order discrepancies or issues in a prompt and professional manner
- Review and verify orders to prevent errors and minimize returns or cancellations
- Handle customer inquiries and provide support regarding order status, product availability, and shipment tracking
- Collaborate with vendors and logistics partners to schedule and track deliveries
- Generate and analyze order reports to identify trends and opportunities for process improvements
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to order management
- Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance order management processes and systems
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- Proven experience in order management, customer service, or a related role
- Proficiency in using order management systems and CRM software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Familiarity with supply chain and logistics processes is a plus
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate across departments
- Demonstrated customer-focused mindset and commitment to delivering exceptional service
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and systems quickly
- Knowledge of export/import regulations and trade compliance is advantageous
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting order data and trends
