We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Operational Risk Manager to join our team. As a key member of our risk management department, you will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing our Data Protection framework and moreover ensuring the effective management of operational risks within our organization.
In this function, you will be responsible for the following:
Data Protection and Compliance :
- Support RTB and CTB data protection related issues (maintaining the vendor / application register, implementing SharePoint governance, enhancing access rights management and Data Leakage Prevention, making use of Purview, etc.)
- Familiarize yourself with the Data Protection requirements of the Bank.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
- Work closely with the Data Protection Officer, the CISO and the IT and Legal teams to address any data-privacy related issues.
Operational Risk Management :
- Assist in identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational risks across the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement risk control measures.
- Monitor risk indicators and report on risk exposure.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and regulatory requirements, including those outlined by FINMA
Internal Control System Maintenance :
- Support the maintenance and enhancement of our internal control system (in Jira)
- Participate in control testing and validation.
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions.
Reporting and Documentation :
- Prepare regular risk reports for senior management and relevant committees.
- Document risk incidents, root causes, and remediation efforts.
- Contribute to the development of risk dashboards and metrics.
Technology Proficiency :
- Utilize SharePoint and the Purview application for risk data management and reporting.
- A basic understanding of other relevant technologies (e.g., data analytics tools) will be advantageous.

- Bachelor s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years experience in operational risk management or a related role.
- Knowledge of FINMA guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in using SharePoint, Jira and the Purview application.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
