Job Overview
We are seeking a Junior Network Engineer with 2-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in basic networking concepts, structured cabling, and IP surveillance systems. As a Junior Network Engineer at Danush, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our clients network environments to ensure seamless and secure operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and management of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and wireless access points.
- Perform structured cabling tasks, including the installation and termination of network cables.
- Support the deployment and maintenance of IP surveillance systems.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation and minimal downtime.
- Perform routine network maintenance and upgrades.
- Document network configurations, changes, and incidents.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide after-hours support as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in network engineering or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of basic network protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience with network hardware from major vendors (e.g., Cisco, HP).
- Basic knowledge of network security principles and practices.
- Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.
