About Us

The Chamber of Seby J. Pullely is a comprehensive legal firm specializing in civil, criminal, and corporate litigation, operates from its main office located at Thrissur District and has an additional branch in Cochin. The Thrissur office handles cases throughout the state of Kerala, representing clients before various Trial Courts, Tribunals, and other statutory forums. On the other hand, the Cochin branch exclusively deals with litigation before the esteemed High Court of Kerala. With his extensive expertise, Adv. Seby J. Pullely guide and navigate the firm.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Associate to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for recent law school graduates or individuals with up to one years of legal experience. As a Legal Associate, you will have the opportunity to work on variety of legal matters, gaining valuable hands-on experience and professional development opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on various issues related to our clients cases.
  • Assist in drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Assist senior counsels to present cases at Court.
  • Attend court hearings and other legal proceedings and present cases as and when asked to do so.
  • Review and summarize legal documents, contracts, and Agreements.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties as needed.
  • Manage Email communication with client Requirements.
  • Assist with case preparation, including organizing and maintaining case files and documentation.
  • File cases, both electronically and physically, and ensure timely postings of cases.
  • Perform administrative tasks as assigned to support the efficient operation of the firm.

Qualifications

1. LL.B from a recognized university and admitted to the Bar as per the rules and regulations of the Bar Council of India.

2. Excellent written and verbal communication.

3. Strong academic record with a demonstrated interest in legal research and writing.

4. Ability to multi-task, prioritise and meet deadlines.

5. Strong interpersonal skills.

6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

7. Prior internships or work experience in a legal setting is a plus, but not required.

8. Familiarity with Civil, Constitutional and Criminal Law will be considered a significant advantage.
