Responsibilities
Help in building Investment Banking Business
Support in origination and successful execution of Private Equity, M&A and Startups
Preparation of Transaction Collaterals Teaser/ Pitch Document, Information Memorandum, Financial Model, etc.
Maintain Deal trackers
Track recent development in the sector
Carry out sector research along with the reporting manager
Maintain data received from the client and organize data room during the due diligence process
Manage investor and client expectations concerning deals
Support the reporting manager in creating a BD pipeline by suggesting new client relationships that can be pursued
Experience Requirements/ Education
2+ years of Investment Banking experience or Corporate Finance experience
MBA Finance/ CFA/ CA with a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience
Good presentation and communication skills
Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting and Finance is a must
Experience of making Financial Models/ Valuations, etc. is a must
Attention to detail, organized and thorough with a desire for continuous improvements
Strong entrepreneurial drive and self-starter
Should have handled Transaction Collaterals Teaser/ Pitch Document, Information Memorandum, Financial Model, etc.
Having been part of closed private equity, M&A or debt syndication transaction is plus
Knowledge of relevant regulations (FDI, SEBI, RBI, etc.), term sheets and shareholders agreement is a plus
