Junior Interior Designer

Job Summary: As a Junior Interior Designer, you will assist in creating visually appealing and functional interior spaces for clients. Working under the guidance of senior designers, you will contribute to concept development, space planning, material selection, and presentation preparation. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a creative individual to gain hands-on experience in the field of interior design.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with senior designers to develop design concepts that meet client requirements and project goals. Assist in space planning, including furniture layout and spatial organization.

2. Research and source materials, furnishings, and accessories that align with the project's design concept and budget.

3. Create mood boards, renderings, and presentation materials to communicate design ideas effectively to clients. Support the drafting of floor plans, elevations, and construction documents using design software such as AutoCAD or SketchUp. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate execution of design plans.

4. Assist on-site visits to monitor progress, address design challenges, and ensure quality control.

5. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and new materials to enhance design capabilities.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field.

2. Strong proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

4. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

5. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

6. Creativity and a passion for design.

7. Prior internship or relevant work experience is a plus, but not required.
