Position Overview
The Junior Business Analyst will support the analysis and documentation of business requirements for software products and services. This role involves working closely with Senior Business Analysts, Project Managers, and other stakeholders to gather, document, and analyse business needs. The Junior Business Analyst will assist in ensuring that business requirements are accurately captured and translated into technical requirements within an Agile environment.
Job Description
- Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.

- Support the preparation and maintenance of comprehensive technical and solution documentation.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and QA teams, to ensure successful delivery of products.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvement and drive implementation.
- Help write clear and detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Support Project Managers with project planning, risk management, and progress tracking.
- Ensure that all business analysis activities comply with company policies and governance standards.
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders to manage expectations and provide project updates.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform product development and business strategy.
- Ensure traceability of requirements through the lifecycle of the project.
- Manage changes to business requirements through effective change control processes.
- Assist in creating wireframes and prototypes to visualize requirements and facilitate better understanding.
Requirement Analysis
Key Responsibilities Area (KRA):
- Assist in gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Participate in workshops, interviews, and 3 Amigos sessions to gather detailed requirements.
Agile Process Management
- Support cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and developers.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and design sessions.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to the agile development process.
- Ensure that user stories and tasks are well-defined and ready for development.
Process Improvement
- Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
Wireframes And Prototypes
- Assist in creating wireframes and prototypes to facilitate better understanding of requirements.
- Ensure wireframes and prototypes are aligned with business and technical requirements.
Documentation
- Assist in preparing detailed documentation, including business requirements documents, functional specifications, process maps, and wireframes.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Team Support
- Support senior business analysts and other team members.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
Stakeholder Management
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and manage their expectations.
- Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on project progress and any issues.
Project Reporting
- Assist in preparing and presenting various end-to-end project reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure reports are comprehensive and provide valuable insights.
Continuous Learning
- Stay current with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Participate in training and development activities.

Skill And Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on software products and services.
- Strong understanding of business analysis tools and software.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prepare detailed and clear documentation.
- Experience with agile development processes.
- Understanding of policy and governance in a corporate environment.
- Ability to conduct market and competitor analysis.
