Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design Development:
- Collaborate with senior architects and designers in the development of conceptual designs for architectural and interior projects.
- Contribute to the creation of detailed drawings and 3D models using industry-standard software.
- Space Planning:
- Assist in space planning and layout design, ensuring optimal utilization of space while meeting client requirements and project goals.
- Material and Finish Selection:
- Research and recommend appropriate materials, finishes, and furnishings based on project specifications, budget, and design concept.
- Client Interaction:
- Participate in client meetings and presentations to understand and interpret client needs, and present design concepts effectively.
- Project Coordination:
- Work closely with project managers to ensure the timely and accurate completion of design deliverables.
- Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate project details.
- Documentation:
- Assist in the preparation of construction documents, specifications, and other project documentation.
- Site Visits:
- Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions, monitor construction progress, and ensure adherence to design intent.
- Research and Innovation:
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and new materials to bring fresh ideas and innovation to the design process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited institution.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and other design software.
- Strong conceptual and design skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
