Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff, including assigning tasks, setting schedules, and providing training.- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and coaching to staff.
Address and resolve any staff issues or conflicts in a professional manner.
- Cleaning and Maintenance:
Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols for classrooms, offices, restrooms, and common areas.- Ensure all cleaning tasks are performed efficiently and to a high standard, including routine and deep cleaning.
Inspect facilities regularly to identify and address cleanliness or maintenance issues.
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels and timely reordering.- Oversee the proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and supplies.
Ensure that all cleaning products are used in accordance with safety regulations and manufacturer instructions.
Enforce health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.- Ensure that the school's cleanliness standards comply with health and safety regulations.
Conduct safety training for housekeeping staff and keep records of training sessions.
Work closely with school administrators, teachers, and other staff to address any specific cleaning needs or concerns.- Coordinate with maintenance and facilities teams for any repairs or upgrades needed in the school.
Budget Management:- Assist in preparing and managing the housekeeping budget, including forecasting expenses and tracking expenditures.
