Job Description

Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including invoices, payments, expenses, and bank reconciliations.
Process and post financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Support the month-end and year-end close process by preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, and contribute to the analysis of financial data.
Maintain organized and well-documented financial records, both physically and electronically.
Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Assist in monitoring and managing petty cash and expense reimbursements.
Contribute to the implementation of financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.
Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and information as required.
Stay updated on accounting principles, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices.
Support the finance team in ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed.

Job Requirements

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
Proficiency in using accounting software like Tally and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Willingness to learn and adapt to changes in accounting standards and procedures.
Previous experience in accounting or finance is a plus but not mandatory.
