At Works Consulting, we provide comprehensive bookkeeping and accounting services on an outsourced basis for our diverse clientele. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in using accounting software, a basic understanding of tax regulations, and proficiency in Zoho Books and Zoho Sheets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize Zoho Sheets and Zoho Books for bookkeeping and accounting tasks.
- Handle basic tax computations and compliance, including TDS, TCS, GST, and Profession Tax.
- Maintain and update financial records accurately.
- Prepare and submit financial reports as required.
- Support in inventory management, monthly MIS reports, e-commerce accounting, and return filing work.
- Assist with accounting tasks specific to diamond manufacturing/trading companies (preferred but not required).
Qualifications:
- Experience using Tally and/or Zoho Books.
- Basic knowledge of TDS, TCS, GST, and Profession Tax.
RequirementsThe following are the requirements for the Junior Accountant-
- Should have the experience of using Tally/Zoho Books.
- Basic knowledge of TDS, TCS, GST and Profession Tax.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
- Any candidate with prior knowledge in the following areas will given a preference -
- Inventory management.
- Preparation of monthly MIS reports.
- E-commerce accounting.
- Experience of return filing work.
- Worked in any diamond manufacturing/trading company.
Job location - Mumbai Central and Churchgate (the candidiate should be comfortable with travelling to other locations like BKC, Marol and Dadar).
Working hours -
Monday to Friday - 10:30 A.M. to 7 P.M.
Saturday - 10:30 AM to 4 P.M.
(flexibility of half an hour can be considered based on the location of the employee)
Salary - Rs. 15,000 - Rs. 20,000
