Job Summary:
Overview: Join our dynamic team at Skybox as a Junior Accountant, where you will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in US-based accounting standards while supporting our onshore team. Responsibilities:
- Assist in day-to-day accounting tasks including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Support the onshore team with financial reporting requirements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP.
- Collaborate with colleagues to streamline accounting processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare financial statements, schedules, and reports as required by management and regulatory authorities.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Participate in periodic audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards relevant to the industry.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
