Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting various accounting functions. With a solid foundation in accounting principles and a strong attention to detail, you will help ensure the accuracy of general ledger accounts, manage accounts receivable and payable, and assist with financial statement preparation. You will also be responsible for reconciling bank accounts, managing fixed asset depreciation, and handling taxation matters. Your contributions will be essential to maintaining our financial integrity and supporting effective financial operations.

Responsibilities

Updates and maintains general ledger accounts

Update accounts receivable, accounts payable and perform reconciliations

Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to company accounting and financial guidelines

Corrects accounting errors and posts journal entry adjustments

Prepares fixed asset depreciation and accruals

Review of expenses, payroll records etc.

Verification and Monitoring of Monthly TDS remittance and Challans

Responsible for payment and management of all taxation such as TDS, PF, Professional Tax, ESI, etc

Reconcile various bank accounts by compiling and balancing financial information

Completes other accounting tasks as needed

Requirements

B. Com/ MBA Fin or Bachelor's degree in related field with 2-3 years of experience

Knowledge of MS Office, Google Sheets, Zoho books, Tally, GST, and proper filing of documents Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team

Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management.

Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
