This is a unique opportunity to join our Professional Services team and use your advanced JavaScript, CSS and React to optimize design, performance, and quality while evolving our technology stack. You will play an integral role in designing and developing applications to provide a seamless migration to Acoustic Connect. You will work with a diverse group of talented professionals - including Onboarding Specialists, Project Managers, Consultants, QA engineers, front- and back-end engineers, a designer, and a product manager. By fostering collaboration and diverse perspectives, our squads empower team members to shape and allow us to provide a world class customer onboarding experience. The ideal candidate will have an eye for design and an ability to create clean, sharp, and responsive layouts using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. The JavaScript developer will join an amazing Professional Services team that is continually striving to provide a world class customer experience.
Your Role:
- Write, modify, and debug web applications using Node.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Work with AWS, using services like Lambdas, Step Functions, Kafka, and ECS/EKS
- Design, code, and manage automated test scripts, continuous builds, and deployment
- Collaborate with team members on design alignment and decisions
- Collaborate with other team members to conduct code and design reviews
- Self-document development processes, conduct peer reviews, and give actionable feedback
- Identify and solve problems
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks such as React
- Experience in designing and building production-quality code in JavaScript and/or Typescript
- Experience with REST, GraphQL, MongoDB, Oracle, Snowflake, or Confluent
- 3+ years of experience with NodeJS
- Experience with AWS, using services such as Lambdas, Step Functions, Kafka, and ECS/EKS
- Excellent debugging and optimization skills
- Experience working in a lean/agile development environment with remote teams
- Effective English communication skills (written and spoken)
Strong Plus:
- Experience with messaging technologies, building SaaS web apps in a cloud environment, and knowledge of automated integration testing frameworks, NoSQL databases, and microservices
- Handle basic DevOps tasks if needed (Jenkins, Terraform)
- Portfolio on GitHub or other platform
