Brief Description About The Project
To screen the children for development disorders with special reference to neurodevelopmental problems (autism spectrum disorder and developmental deiay) by using placental data/other baseline data.
To understand the association of placental markers with developmental abnormalities in children.
JRF (Social Worker)
Position Starting: 1st November, 2024

Salary: Rs.30,000. (To be enhanced after a probationary period to the satisfaction of the core team of CARE-ADD. Those with exceptional achievements will qualify for higher starting salary. Higher salary will be especially considered for those who are willing to formally agree to stay through project extensions as they occur. Longer term academic pursuits from within CARE-ADD would be one of the criteria that will be used to determine remuneration over time)
Language: English, Kannada. (Knowledge of at least one more Indian language is desirable)
Experience: Minimum Experience of 2 years required
Preferred Qualifications: Masters in Social Work

Roles Responsibilities
- Managing the day care and organizing activities for young adults with autism
- Conducting cornmunity-based assessments
- Assisting in social skills training and get-togethers organised for youn adults with autism
- Facilitating sample collection and EEG for TYA participants
- Maintaining records
- Attending and presenting academic programs, seminars and workshops
- And all other duties as assigned by PI
