The Planning team provides value add by:Managing or completing supply planning based on a number of indicators (sales forecast, orders, production data)
Analyzing, controlling and reporting on relevant KPI, detecting plan deviations, and deriving recommendations
Developing supplier forecasts and determine logistical processes with suppliers
Analyzing order plans and critical timelines, and double-checking of available materials, parts or products in stock
Executing load balancing calculations, and cooperating with other plants for respectively optimized plans
Planning of monthly or weekly production program for the assigned plant(s)
Calculating and deploying short-term (day-to-day) production plans for assigned production resources
A job at this level:Plans the material, machine or personnel resources needed, in support of or cooperation with accountable Planning staffPerforms procurement orders, and prepares production or transportation orders according to the plans agreed
Prepares short-term resource plans, monitors efficiency of processes, and proposes short-term measures when necessary
Supports the team in identifying deficiencies or improvement potential
