- The primary role and responsibilities of a Technical Business Development Intern include:
- Build contacts with potential clients to create new business opportunities
Maintain knowledge of all product and service offerings of the company- Follow the company's guidelines and procedures for the acquisition of customers
Research and identify new market opportunities
- Maintain fruitful relationships with clients and address their needs effectively
Make outbound follow-up calls to existing clients via telephone and email cross-sell and upsell- Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts in the corporate database
Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
- Qualifications and Skills Required :
Must possess strong customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
Must be detail-oriented and an active listener- A positive, confident and determined approach
A high degree of self-motivation and ambition
- Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
