- Flexibility to be based at the head office when not traveling.

- Strong proficiency in Excel and other CRM tools, with promptness in updating and maintaining records to ensure system transparency and process efficiency.

Job Summary: The Senior Sourcing Manager will develop and implement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of high-quality materials and products for Western wear apparel. This role demands a strategic thinker with deep industry knowledge, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to build robust supplier relationships. Extensive dealings with manufacturers, Pan-India travel, and adherence to YUVAKAA's zero-tolerance policy for quality and timing are key aspects of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing Strategy: Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with YUVAKAA's business goals.
- Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with quality suppliers.
- High-Stakes Negotiation: Secure favorable terms with suppliers regarding pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all sourced materials and products meet YUVAKAA's high standards.
- Cost Efficiency: Manage sourcing budgets to drive cost-efficiency.
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and emerging technologies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with design, production, and logistics teams for seamless operations.
- Risk Mitigation: Develop strategies to mitigate supply chain risks.
- Pan-India Travel: Conduct regular supplier visits across India (minimum 15 days per month).
- Supply Chain Optimization: Continuously enhance sourcing processes and supply chain efficiency.
- Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative team environment, ensuring all team members can grow and contribute effectively to sourcing operations.
- System and Process Transparency: Maintain strong proficiency in Excel and CRM tools, ensuring timely updates and accurate record-keeping to support transparent operations.
- Forecasting and Delivery: Accurately forecast demand, ensure timely stock delivery, and maintain daily updates on staging and trackers to support efficient supply chain operations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. A Master's degree or professional certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 15+ years in sourcing and procurement within the fashion industry, focusing on Western wear. Must have a solid vendor base and proven track record with a reputed apparel brand.
