Job Description
We are looking for a Jira Systems Administrator who will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Atlassian tools, such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and others, to support the organization's collaboration and project management needs. This role involves working closely with various teams to ensure the efficient use of Atlassian products and to provide technical support.
This position will report to a Director within our IT Engineering and Operations department and has the opportunity to be located in our offices in Pune, India. We're looking for someone to join us immediately.
What you'll do:
Configure and administer Atlassian tools, including Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and implement requirements for workflow, custom fields, screens, and reports.
Manage user access, permissions, and security settings in Atlassian tools, while monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing necessary solutions.
Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Stay current with Atlassian product updates and industry best practices to optimize system performance.
Provide end-user support, training, and troubleshooting for Atlassian tools.
Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate Atlassian tools with other systems.
Implement and enforce governance policies for Atlassian tool usage.
What we're looking for:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5-7 years of experience administering Atlassian tools or a similar role involving system administration and configuration.
Proficient in configuring and administering Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and other Atlassian products.
Strong technical background with experience in IT administration, system integration, troubleshooting, and automation.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address system-related challenges.
Experience in providing end-user support, training, and issue resolution.
Ability to create and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations and processes, with an understanding of security best practices.
